Sennheiser PC 350 Gaming Headset Review
The control pod and the Sennheiser PC 350 gaming headset itself is so lightweight you hardly feel it. And the headbar and earphones are both covered in comfortable velour padding. As for the sound quality, well, it’s nothing short of amazing. I had used the PC 350 headset to watch a movie and heard sounds I had never heard before.
The Sennheiser PC 350 gaming headset is currently on sale.
By adding a never before experienced dimension of reality to gaming and providing the most accurate sound quality available in the market, you have arrived at the ultimate. Thanks to Sennheiser’s expertise as a global leader in electro-accoustics, the Sennheiser PC 350′s sound perception is so precise that you will literally feel like you are in the game. Every sound is exceptionally clear and sharp. For a non-5.1 headset, the directionality of the sound is incredible. The bass was excellent and sharp. Explosions sounded realistic without any buzzing or crackling. For sound quality, this is better than almost any other gaming headset I’ve tried and that’s saying something.
The headset certainly feels and looks substantial. Construction quality is superb and the high quality plastics provide encouraging rigidity and a solid feel. Note that the headphones can fold up, making them easier to pack in your bag on the way to LANs or tournaments.
Take a look at all of these features:
- Closed circumaural construction shuts out disturbing ambient noise
- Large size ear cups for comfortable wearing during long gaming sessions
- Large size microphone for highest intelligibility
- Collapsible for easy transport
- Volume control with microphone mute
Pros:
- Comfortable even during long gaming sessions
- Sound is amazing for the price
- Incredible sound distinction and direction
- Mic is clear and handles cutting ambient noise well
Cons:
- High-end sound card is a must
In addition to the fantastic surround sound offered by the Sennheiser PC 350 headset, you’re able to hear very small nuances and as a result all of the effects, especially the weapons are more distinctive and realistic than ever before. Paired with a decent sound card the headset brings your gaming to another level of immersion.
J.P.
I’ve owned a few headsets in the past 10 years, including Logitech, Altec Lansing, Sony (without a microphone) and a lower model Sennheiser about 5 years ago. I am an avid computer gamer and often go late into the night at stretches of 8 hours at a time or more. And this is the best headset I’ve ever used in almost everyway.
